Why do you need to know my budget at our first consultation?
We ask for your budget because it is important information for the planning process. We do not ask you to be intrusive or to make you spend more money. Understanding your budget helps us determine if it is realistic and how best to allocate it. This allows us to suggest a venue that fits within your budget, considering all the other expenses you will encounter during the planning process.
Do you provide a formal contract?
Certainly. A contract is essential in the agreements between wedding planners and clients, offering protection for both the professional and the couple. Beware of those who operate without a formal contract.
Can I hire you just for coordination if I've already booked all my wedding vendors?
Many couples choose to hire me exclusively for the peace of mind it provides. The ability to avoid burdening family and friends is a liberating experience! If you’ve already started planning your wedding and have secured your vendors, I’m more than happy to collaborate with them. Are you exclusively dedicated to our event, or do you manage other events on the same date?
A wedding planner is typically a professional who finds it challenging to oversee multiple events simultaneously. This question is pivotal in understanding the professional’s approach to their work. It is advisable to be cautious of planners who handle multiple weddings on the same date. Additionally, as a member of AIWP, I have access to a network of trusted colleagues who can step in if needed.
